Where is a good place to grab shots at Miramar now?  When I was a kid I never had a problem on Kearny Villa Road and other times I would stop here: 32.860303, -117.11588.  But they have put up do not stop/park signs up.

Sweet Keith.

Did you catch the 2 seater F-5F?

Someone commented that was the Frakin-Tiger.

isn't that a T-38?  Or is there a special, non T-38, 2 seater F-5 that has eluded my memory banks?

Found a cool program online to recover these files that were inadvertently deleted off my card. ;)

That is one way of putting it.  Did you get them all back?

Yep, though I only had gotten 20 shots before they were mysteriously deleted anyhow.  ;)

You know not to rehash this, but there is no difference in the picture you took (of the C-130) then the one i did...And another thing i was thinking about, on ASB someone posted a ton of those pics from the base, and even Keith got shots from inside.  I still don't get it.  Might just be a power trip thing.

F-5B and F-5F were two seat variants.

Yeah it was lame, but I should have expected it anyway. The normal canned excuse (can't shoot that government aircraft) just seemed extra stupid on that particular day considering they were in San Diego to be photographed.
