Debating. Might go around 10:00 AM or so, not sure. It looks like a long morning after the A380 lands.>:D I think the best shots will be with the 707 and the takeoff at noon.

Is it possible to get good shots at the Flight Center even though it's a closed event? Do have to shoot through a fence?

Not sure ??? I think it will have a lot of security with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John there. It should be easier to get pix after they are done speaking. After 10:30 AM.

Everyone remember your monopods :)
If you can get up to the fence, you can use a monopod and a cable release to get some shots without the fence in the way.

East side there is a LARGE tent. So try from the west side.
Anxiously awaiting a photo of the monster aircraft. ::) <pump> <wave>
I assume you mean that all white 747 that came in and taxied by at noon? >:D
That would be "Dubai 008 Boeing 747-2B4BM(SF) from the Dubai Air Wing. Apparently, it is Sheikh Mohammed's horse transport!

Ok so where are these secret spots for non press people? I might make it there on the next arrival flight this week...
I can't its a secret..... west side of Flight Path LAX Museum, old termianl parking lot and a mono pod or thru the fence for me. Imperial Hill for the departure shots.
Fantastic shots! I regret not going. Can you use a ladder to shoot over the fence?
