October 24 flights are arrival 9:45am and leaves 10:30pm.. 9:30am might work but depends on fog...

The Qantas A380 will then be re-positioned for an arrival ceremony at the Flight Path Learning Center at the LAX Imperial Terminal at 6661 West Imperial Highway."

Debating. Might go around 10:00 AM or so, not sure. It looks like a long morning after the A380 lands.>:D I think the best shots will be with the 707 and the takeoff at noon.

Is it possible to get good shots at the Flight Center even though it's a closed event? Do have to shoot through a fence?

Not sure ??? I think it will have a lot of security with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John there. It should be easier to get pix after they are done speaking. After 10:30 AM.

Everyone remember your monopods :)

If you can get up to the fence, you can use a monopod and a cable release to get some shots without the fence in the way.
