I'm suspecting that the airport is going to be shut down in every way, they will probably have all the airport entrances blocked, including the parking lots at the ends of the runways, so I don't really know where the best spot would be. I have an airport card to get onto the property, but I doubt that will do any good.[/logged]

Santa Monica Airport!? Oh man if he does come here I will be there. and btw I was at the UCLA Campus today and saw 2 helicopters "Marine 1" type fly over and real low.

Guess they were making a dry run to that location as well.  See the time line Josh posted...last stop of you look up on airport-data is a heliport on a building on Wilshire.  I got my camera JIC, on my way home.
