Hey, great job catching our newest bird (the EC-135)! Everyone in the system is a bit jealous of Air 5...first new bird in a long time, and first EC-135 in the Mercy system. Don't want to give up my 412, but some nice modern equipment is something to look forward to!

Hi Skip,

The UT bird has now become N405LN and is the Victorville / Air 2 ship (except when we steal it b/c ours is down for something). We have N401MA, which is sorta historic, as it was Mercy's first aircraft.

The 902s are indeed long gone, and everyone rejoiced when they left. The were hard to work on, didn't have good high/hot performance and w/ MD's financial troubles, parts were nigh on impossible to get. Everyone loves the Deuces because they're fast, have plenty of power, and just a bit "manly" with those big fat blades. Jury's still out of the 135. The one that everyone's waiting for is the 429, to see if it lives up to the hype.
