A pic of old "Fire 4" during hoist training in 1996. This is a scan so the quality is as good as i could do, with a 4X6 print. At the time the helicopter was recently updated with 212 blades and tail rotor system. LAFD never did the 1800hp engine upgrade , and it wasn`t really needed within city limits.

Not sure if this should go under Police or Military. LA County Sheriffs Dept. motor cops test fit a couple bikes into a CH-47D from the Calif. National Guard. The test was during a disaster integration operation in 2007.....they both fit.
