I can't believe I missed this by leaving 5 minutes early!!  :-[

Dang, that sucks! :-\

I was so deflated when I missed the Alaska Statehood livery on Monday, but that hurts big time.

Finally went through the Qatar C-17 set.  What a sight to see as it finally embarked on her first flight!  Looked gorgeous wearing those colors. ;)

Interesting!  I thought she would bear this registration number permanently.  Any idea how "temporary" this is going to be?

Thank you gentlemen.  Yeah, I was definitely content that day.  Third time's always the charm.  If I had shown up just 2 minutes earlier to catch her on the rolling on the taxiway. ::)

The temp registration number will just be on for the ferry flight.

Gotcha.  Does the owner of aircraft choose the registration after this?

School starts tomorrow. ;D

For this aircraft, it will not have an FAA N number I bet as it is foreign.

Do they do the same thing for the USAF C-17s prior to USAF delivery?  They used to for KC-10s.  (Again, no N number as they will be US military)

Ah!!  It must be aware of our presence so she's putting on a show for us. ;)  Looks like an afternoon departure, as the light played out much better.  I'd love to get as many shots of her before it gets officially delivered for good.

Nice job Kevin! <thumbsup>
