I was asking when they usually depart/arrive for the days they aren't practicing over the base (Friday for instance).  Sorry if I wasn't clear.

Jim...So your saying the area is going to be closed to the public?

The area over the range, yes... the area around the base (hay bales, etc) open.  ;)

I believe they fly at the same times each day.  You know they do have a day or two when they are over the range 3 times a day.  I want to say that one of those days is Friday, and the third practice is around 3:30 i think.  If your on ASB they have a good thread, and folks who can answer all those good questions.

6 finally did fly for the afternoon flight on saturday, which I was glad to see. People were speculating, so I was glad to see Baxter get back up and fly.

Initially the roads were nasty... luckily I have my mud terrains.  8) It dried up reasonably fast though, before long people were actually driving out in little Hondas and such like.

Here are a couple Gladiators. Can't find my old Photoshop. :(

NATE!  Good to finally see some shots from you, it's been a while since i've seen some, haven't lost it i see! If you go to adobe you can download a fully functional Elements or Light room for a month.  Might be able to hold you over if need be.

You going out to El Centro again next week?  How long were you out there this weekend?

Thanks Chris  8) it was kind of cool, I was able to go out there kind of on a spur of the moment type thing. The wife decided she would let me go.  :D I was out there friday and stayed for saturday. I didn't stay long saturday though... I hit the road by 1320 ish.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be headed back out there again until March. :( Last year I was out there left and right... not so this year.

Yeah, I was showing my friend one of my spots I usually go to in the AM when he came out. He must have overnighted, because I never even knew that bird was there  <laughing>
