This Super Hornet carries the name of Rear Admiral Richard J. O'Hanlon (Commander, Naval Air Force Atlantic) who was serving as commander, Strike Force Training Atlantic, Norfolk, Va. at the time of his nomination to Rear Admiral in 2007.
