F-16N at Chino VF-126

That Looks really vintage. I thought VF-126 was decommissioned back in the 1990's, And the Navy transferred the planes to VFC-13. now based at NAS Fallon NV.

Nope, the F-16N's were retired due to cracks in the wings. VFC-13 operates the F-5N and F-5F. NSAWC operated some F-16's but those are F-16A/B

you just had to know that the  F-16N's would be short lived with all the ACM that they were doing. The AF has a ton ofstill flyable F-16A and Bs at DM AFB  might as well use um up.

This F-16N was on display at the Wings Over Gilespie Air Show 2009. It is the custody of the San Diego Air and Space Museum's Gilespie Field Facility
