Sorry about the tilted runway, I'll have to level the horizon better. I was standing in one spot and turned my body to get a series of 6 or 7 pics of each of the aircrft. With maybe 2 or 3 that I could post.

it's an awesome naval base, and i'm sure i will be there in Oct again...  
i have been there with friends every year since 2003. most of the times there were prowlers. here are some;

While lots Of aircraft transit through NAS North Island also has the ability to host visiting ships, Like USS Abraham Lincoln CVN-72.

I caught this Arligh Burke distroyer headed out to sea 03/02. Pics taken from NAS North Island.
