It looks like he transitioned over lax making a left hand turn over el segundo coming back over south bay. It looks like you then went over towards long beach and I made another left hand turn.

1. print google map of south bay area
2. get bright red crayon
3. grab crayon in hand (think 2 year old) opposite your normal writing hand
4. pick 5 simple images (say a smiley face, sail boat, car, etc...) and draw them all on top of each other
5. sign your name over that jumble
6. stand back and analyze...

i think thats what the flight track looked like, LOL

probably more like a cross of LAX, then hook down by torrance and Long beach, then a big sweeper up around north to line up on the LAX approach.

Yeah you are correct and I was using voice text.  I noticed a AA 737 no gear down when I was at 405 and LAX and kind of tracked him while driving, going over El Segundo and Redondo and Torrance heading east and then getting back in pattern and lost him.

Thanks!

Imagine what went through my mind when I found that I'd shot it at 1/80!
A short time prior, I shot this and forgot to reset things back to "jet" from "prop"
::)

this is one from a long while back at 1/50th thanks to Nikon VR.  Attempting to get it on a.net, but that is going just brilliant  ::) (rejected on three accounts, haha - kinda thinking it's their loss though)
