I can't believe they're getting hit that hard. I heard L.A. City and has helos doing night drops.

Just drove through Palos Verdes and Portuguese Bend headed towards San Pedro...I'd never thought that I would see fires blazing in RPV.  I'm gonna see if I can grab a few shots from the sidestreets.  The main streets are packed with onlookers and such.  Amazing.

I think I remember one of the fire fighters at Heroes talking about wild fires, pretty crazy stuff...  :o

Snagged some shots of the " >:D " glow from here in Pedro. Will post tomorrow. The moon is blood red from the smoke. Have shots of it too. Worst one I have seen in PV ever.

We need em out here more though. We've got a fire that started at 5:30 last night. By 7:30, it was at 600 acres  :o

Most of the tankers from the Morris Fire were pulled out here before dusk.

News stated that they had 5 helos at 10pm.  600 acre fire in Hemet too.
Ash on the car this morning.

I can hear the news choppers out there but can't see smoke from where I am.
