It wouldn't be all that bad.  You would get to see many places from a different perspective, meet a lot of interesting people, play with all the coolest toys, look like a hot shot wherever you go.....  I dare say you'd have the time of your life.  As for joining the Air Force, who knows?

Some will remember I was trying to figure out who the General was I saw walking around on Sat.

Turns out it was BGen O'Shaughnessy, Commander, 57th Wing, Nellis AFB.
