Sweet! Im taking my 300mm, but maybe the air show experts might have a different suggestion?  ;D

The 1 to 4 is probably the most Popular Canon air show lens. With the D50 your 70-300 becomes equivalent to a 105-450mm with the crop factor. That should do.
