I was at work when I saw a C-5 Galaxy on final approach for rwy 24R around 4:10pm. Not very positive if it was a C-5...  ::)
The plane should be at the remotes..

I saw a C-130 last night on the east side of Sepulveda Blvd... South side of the airport. Maybe around 8:15pm.

With no military airfield in the greater Los Angeles area, I don't think it would be to uncommon to see large military cargo aircraft at LAX. What would be more suprising is if you would see fighter aircraft stopping for fuel like they do at MSP. The Navy and Air Force jointly operate a reserve center at MSP for military aircraft to stop at, No such military presence at LAX

I got a C-130 shot departing one time last year I think and a CF-18 as well (Keith got shots too) and the C-5A comes in to pick up satellites.

I saw the Edwards C-5 (with flight test boom) on approach to LAX a few years ago.
