The below pics of a C-2A Greyhound did a Short Field Arrestment on Runway 36. The Greyhound declaired an  emergency and landed with the left engine shut down and the left propeller feathered. I havent learned what caused the shutdown. Pics were shot at 3:05 PM with my EOS-40D and a 75-300MM lens.

That first Greyhound (non color bird) you posted is the one that came out and bounced at El Centro during our photocall. :) So you caught it on the other end of the flight.  8)

in reference to my (post #215) C-2 pics of 11/18/09, the non color bird took off about 2:50 PM and did touch and go's till the other one took of at about 3:05PM then they joined up and headed west out to sea.The non color bird may have been to El Centro earlier in the day.

Well they must have just quickly joined and then seperated... because she arrived all by herself at El Centro around 3:35pm or so. Left El Centro right about at 4pm almost on the dot (as we were sadly leaving the runway in our bus).

Here's Password 37 during one of about a dozen bounces on the 18th. This one was probably 3:45 ish:

well then, Ol Number 37 was at El Sweato after all.

For those uneducated El Sweato is Navy lingo use by sailors as reference for El Centro.
