Blue Angels 10K Fun Run/Walk and photocall

Run/walk the event and then you get customized, guided, personalized access to the airfield in a bus/van.  You must complete the 10K to qualify to go out on the field.  Numbers are limited and this invite was send to ApSoCal as well as AZAp and Fencecheck.  24 is the max.  So if you interested in Running/Walking this please reply here and I will fwd your name over the PAO's office. 

For those not noting how far 10K is, its 6.24 miles.

Someone that did the event last year said bikes were allowed, do you know if that's true this time around Damon?

It's too bad I work doubles on Saturdays. I would be interested if they would allow bikes and I didn't have to work.

As quoted by the Deputy PAO at El Centro "Real men don't ride bikes. But bikes are allowed. Joe ran it in 17 seconds last year."   But I believe some of his info is off or missing digits......   He want to INSPIRE all those going.

Tell Kris 250 lb guys don't run I tried to get back into running 6 months ago and was laid up for days afterwards. :p

I used to run 9 miles a day... But that was 10 years ago and I was 175 lbs.

Yeah well I did my first fitness boot camp last Wed and was very sore until last night. Class starts again tomorrow night. Thank god it's only 1 hour or I would die. I think in the coming months it will pay off.

Yeah I need to kick it up a notch.  With my new found free time and between fixing up my parents house to rent...I will be riding more often and also try and get back into running as well.

I lost 43 lbs on my diet (gained 8 back over the holidays) and I'm looking to get back in track. Would love to lose 20-30 more.

Yep, I'll be riding the bike... Get done in 15-20 mins versus an hour lol. I'll have to ask her, I'm not sure. I think she runs, but I'll tell her to let you know what method she wants to use.
