The Japanese Self Defense Force is participating in the Dawn Blitz Exercise 2013 this month. A historic moment was the first time landing of a Marine MV-22 Osprey on a foreign ship, this being the Japanese ship "Hyuga", a Helicopter Destroyer. At the end of the day, I was flown back to NAS North Island in an Osprey. Great experience.
