The Camarillo Wings Association will host this year's "Wings Over Camarillo" Air Show with support from volunteers from the Southern California Wing of the Commemorative Air Force, EAA Chapter 723 and the Ventura County 99s.

An expanded Air Show flight demonstration features many popular aerobatic routines with nearly 90 aircraft; including vintage planes, experimental, and WWII fighter, bombers and transports. The Air Show features public access to the planes, pilots, and crews. Come for the day to watch and walk among the planes; take photos and ask questions of the pilots and air show volunteers. Be part of the classics of aviation! See restored aircraft from the 1940's, 1950's and 1960's flying while you can. You may not get another chance! These airplanes are what inspired young people decades ago to get into aviation and aerospace in Southern California. What you'll see at our air show contributed to the evolution of propeller aviation into the jet age.

Hi guys and gals! I don't post often. I recently got a T3i and haven't put it down since. It really changed my life. I love it. Anyways, I went to ht CMA Airshow today, and took some photos, while hanging out with some pilot friends of mine. I had a great time. I am still new to photography, so be gentle.

Most of the photos were taken with a UV filter on, a tulip lens hood, and either my 18-55 or 75-300. If its a photo in the air, it was more than likely taken with my 75-300, though I am betting you veterans can tell the difference.

This was my first airshow with a quality camera, so I am still learning.

Uploading more, but Photobucket is going sooooo slow!

Apparently I just reached my 2.3GB limit on PB. Damn.

Great shots especially for your first airshow.    Are you resizing at all?  That eats up space.  flickr has like 1TB free I think.

Thanks Damon. I haven't resized anything. In fact, I am shooting in "raw" mode, and was wondering if I should change that. Might have to do that, or switch to Flickr. a TB is HUGE.
