Hey Ken, what lighting did you use on the P-51's, car headlights? They came out really nice!

Sorry to hear this show was your last, Jim.   Hope to see you around the valley on occasion.   Take care.  :(

Here are a few of mine from yesterday...

Well that was a long 225 mile drive today for not..... >:( >:(

Showed up at around 9am to POURING rain.  Not just overcast drizzle....RAIN!!!  So me and my dad hemmed and hawed about what to do, so we went and ate at Flo's...GREAT Biscuits and Gravy!  Came out about 10 o'clock and it was still raining hard so we decided to drive home.  I'm sure it might have let up, but it looked cold and miserable.

Man, sorry to hear that. I don't know if anything was cancelled but I know the gaggle and the F-15 flew.
Canon stuff.

Hate to hear of the bad weather. So many hours of work and preparations to put on such events, not to mention the income lost as well as what the crowds lose out on.  :'(

Here's a takeoff from yesterday...
Yeah, well i am curious to hear from anyone who stayed today, because at about noon in San Diego it started to clear up, and by three it turned out to be a gorgeous day...120 miles to the south.  I think it was one of those things that if we stayed it would have been bad all day, but if we left it would have cleared up an hour later.  Oh well, you win some and lose some.

man you left just a bit too early.  Skies stopped raining after 10am and it started to clear.  Ended up having by far the most dramatic light and puffy cloud filled skies. Not to mention that the air e ded up being very clear and void of any haze.  Everything flew starting at 11am.   All in all a great day and worth sitting out the rain in the morning..

The first image (Lady Go) was a 30 second exposure under the airport lights.  For the second image, I used a fill flash during a 15 second exposure.

Damon and Kevin,  thank you for your comments.

A couple images from Sunday morning just after the rain stopped.
