Yeah brush fire.  We had to take the 101 that year.   We usually took PCH but it was closed at Kanan Dune road.

1978,1979 is about the time when the Navy started painting all their aircraft with the now current low visibility paint schemes.

On Saturday July 19th I went to Willmar Municipal Airport (KBDH) in Willmar Minnesota and shot about 50 pics of F-14A BUNO 160914. The aircraft looks to be a very good condition overall. I'll put up some pics when I get Back on August 6th
