Yesterday there was a white A-star with blue line down center with what looked like and HD camera or larger camera ball (than most TV copters) flew 2 circles around the Warner Ctr.  Maybe some transition footage for something?

Had N1231A at Hemet last week too for the lightning fires. It's registered to a weird company, does KCBS/KCAL lease it?

Here are some shots of the other news ships at Hemet-Ryan for refueling during the fire siege. Between the 20 firefighting aircraft and half dozen news ships rotating out of the base at a rapid pace, it looked like Hemet-Ryan's glory days of old.
