Yeah thats the spot.   Rested a many times up there on my run.  Been a while since I have run that side of Mulholland.  Recent past it was from the other side where the Nike Radar station (now park) is.

I was unpacking the SUV after going to Costco with the parents and I saw a Sheriff's car with lights on looking down the street then taking off (had lights on, no sirens)  they 30 seconds later the A-Star shows up.  Here are some shots of it until the car came back and asked who I shot for and then told him I live here.  He said go inside they are looking for a suspect with a gun.  I did and tried to find frequency, no luck and the A-Star left shortly there after.  Wonder if they saw me wave.  Seems like I had become there radius point.

man these guys were looking rite at you when you took those pics..LOL..they were probably saying is that the guy we are looking for, he seems to be armed with a Canon EOS 40D along with a 100-400 mm zoom lens...

Yeah, I wonder if they radioed to the patrol car and that is why he showed up to tell me to get in the house.
I hear them again now.  They are back!!!!!!  Close but not overhead.
