Yea , the helo went a did a couple drops as practice for a training pilot....there really wasn`t anywhere for the fire to go.

I just lucked out being at the airport at that time....

I don't know what I was doing...trying to shoot a moving helo (LASD AS-350) at dusk with 1/2 and 1 second exposure times...but just before I deleted the results, I realized they struck me in a kind of modern-artish sort of way.

Not easier or faster to attached the hose as not to cause more drag??
