Was just reading on ASB that people were not allowed to bring any lens over 300mm. Did this happen to anyone? Here is a link to the thread I was reading:

I heard that as well.  That sucks!

I walked in with a camera backpack and highpowered lens, no one said a word to me and I saw a ton of super telephoto lenses walking around with no media badges.

That show has had weird crap like this happen occasionally. There's a real disconnect between the PAO's office and the security folks. Some of those guys need to be told to keep it in their pants. Geez.

Here are some of my shots from Friday practice and Saturday.  I was using the monster Nikon 200-400 both
days and was very impressed with the sharpness of the lens (Jim, now I know why you love it so much).
Now I'm gonna have to start saving my pennies!  ;D

Great shots David.  Love the prop blur on the C-130 and the F-4 on the low transition on takeoff.  Nellis is a great airshow to take shots from.

Doesn't take much to become addicted to that lens David!

Great images!  <thumbsup>
