Just watched Little Dieter Needs to Fly: Netflix
This is an outstanding documentary and found it a unique way to tell the story of Dieter and his struggles to fly and then his challenges of surviving being capture.  It's always better to hear the 1st person accounts and the re-enactments by the actual person was surprising and very informative.  His experiences tug at your emotions and with him sharing like this, you come to feel like you know him well and feel you can't image how he made it and what a strong person he was.  Please what this to learn what it was like for those in Vietnam and to appreciate these veterans, most of which did not receive a hero's welcome when they came home and to honor those that did not.

I recommend this to anyone interested in Vietnam war history and veteran experiences.  Also, watch the entirety of the move and including the credits..... and beyond.

Rescue Dawn is a fictional movie based on Dieter experiecne.
