Scored big time and got the green light to go on the next fencecheck photocall!! ;D  I know of one other APsocal'er going, Nate (Kick-Z-tails out).  Anyone else going?

My other question for those who have gone, any good tips?  I've see the general tips, but i want to know shooting tips.  I am assuming a telephoto is not needed, so a wide angle would be best.  I have already gone and gotten a rental for that day, because my stock standard 18-70mm sucks.  The other question i had, is it hard to focus on something moving in front of you that quick?  I can imagine my camera going ape $h!t trying to focus in on something like that.

Anything else would help immensely!

Might be a dumb question judging from your profile pic...

No I took that from last time.   A tele-photo is good if you have two camera bodies or before you go on base they shot from the field outside the fence so you need it them, But yes a wide would be good or at least a 24-105mm since it has some range before they touch down.  Have fun!!!!!!

I was wondering if you were going to shoot or do video?  Maybe both?
