Very cool. But I'm not a fan of the noseart. The airbrushed look doesn't work imo. If your gonna do it, you gotta use the same technique as the times, not the new-age ways.

Its very cool, the art work, but I do agree with you there.  On a more modern aircraft it would better match the era I guess.

What happens when you don`t reset your camera from the night before....this was shot at ISO 800  Yeeechs.  Anyway , the helo has a cool camera on the nose so im posting.

Even on a overcast ,crappy day my D40X exposes great. .7 negative exposure Comp on Aperture Priority.

My D70 would of over exposed on this shot.

I had to go back and look at this plane ....what a beauty. Even without a Rotor system. I love the on-mark conversion....and it was done at Van Nuys in the 60s......what a locally historic Plane.

The fact that a dedicated group of people have worked to keep that A-26 restored and airworthy is significant. I'd bet thaat A-26 needs a lot of tender loving care to keep it flyable.
