WARBIRD KEITH

The Connie is now owned by the Yanks museum @ Chino. A ferry flight is in the works, but  a lot of corrosion.
the last time I  saw that bird fly was @ Edwards 1997 or Long Beach 1997  :-\

Well if Yanks owns it.  One last flight back to Chino and as Michael Jackson said "This is it!" and no more flying....

How long has it been since this aircraft last flew? 10 years? 12 years? There is going to be about a million litle details the FAA iss going to want inspected and stamped off before that Connie would even taxi to the runway. Then there is the cost of gitting the connie ready to fly, coservatively $500,000.(could be more0.  Can Yanks afford that?
