Those are most impressive, Kevin!  Love the contrast between the white body and dark clouds.  And the shock diamonds from the afterburners to boot!

That was Saturday at Miramar in 07' wasn't it?  Was bummed i had to miss that show (Something about my twin children being born on an Miramar airshow weekend...the Irony).  Although i remember the weather not being that great (as seen in your pics) that did make for some intersting shots.  And the afterburners just jump out in all those pictures.  That is my goal, i want to get a good AB shot one of these days (one with shock diamonds, and not just looking down the tail pipe).  Are they almost impossible to get on a bright sunny day?
