Just reading about this, man it would make a great companion to my 50D ;D But have to wait till next airshow season, I'm broke :(

That's a great looking (camera) body, not to mention its very impressive technical specs to go along with it.  But I like the fact that it closes the bridge between the "prosumer" 50D and the full on pro 5D MkII.  I've always thought that there was a body missing in between the two, not to mention their price differences (more than double).  

With the introduction of this body, it's eradicated my decision to upgrade to the 40D, however this is terror for my wallet.  It can smell trouble a mile away with this puppy.

man i think I'm gonna have to put some pennies away or pull some teeth out so the good ol tooth fairy will leave me a good lump sum under my pillow  ;D
