Cal Fire has been real busy this week, but no possible way to get near the air drop, which is fine, because I would have felt real guilty anyway to be there for my own selfish reasons, those pilots are truely some hero's, at least for this time. I got what I could get out of Ramoma.

Thanks dude! Haha yep, you nailed it!
I'm learning! lol. I shot SBD departures at 1/125 (trying to slow down those dang fat Herc blades) and 1/100 on arrivals.

This one gives a nice view of the clamshell doors on the tried and true constant flow tank design. Computer controlled for volume (coverage level) required; achieved by how wide or narrow it opens... and can selectively clamp shut for salvo loads. Dial in 1000 gallons and the computer will open the doors for as long as it estimates 1000 gallons to flow, and slams shut.

Finally got to use the camera again.  ::) Unfortunately just more EOR stuff. Haven't been on scene in months. Nice to practice every once in a while so I don't forget what I'm doing.

I'm liking the prop blur Nate, way to experiment!  Here's one from the archives, with no prop blur.
