Maybe in another year or so. First I need what will replace the 5D. Need full frame. Hoping the spec?s will be at least 5 FPS and 16 MP, it would almost make the ideal airshow camera. If I had $8,000.00 I would get the 1Ds Mark III. But, like most of you I am still waiting to win the lottery

Fernando,  I am actually going to still keep my D2x and use it for wildlife and airshows since I can use the HSC (Hi Speed Crop) mode ...

Sure Midnight am a amatuer since I am not making any money on my photography...  Yep know the Avatar, shot at Pt. Mugu.  I am still working on processing those shots.. Alomst done though... 

Me too, but still processing many other airshows. The Reno Airraces for example I took over 16,000 frames. I wish I had more time to devote to this, but have pay the bills

Yes, my camera that is not even 1 year old has about 40,000 frames on it so far. I believe the 30D will do about a 100,000 or so before it

I have that hobby too. Same problem
