I'm an former Canadian who grew up on floats and skiis and had 2,500 hours in before I discovered wheels. Flew most non-turbine stuff under 12,500 pounds and enjoyed a lot of CFI work in various locales including Toloedo, Buffalo and Denver. My favorite bird was the Beaver. Fat, dumb and happy old girl. Once got a Commercial pilot his ATP rating and found out he flew a Ford Tri-Motor from Sandusky to Middle Bass Island in Ohio.

My avaition photograph started with a guy hanging out the window of a Cessna 172 taking pictures of Ohio farms. A hundred camera bodies later and it's still fun to pull up under an old warbird and shoot down the line of rivets.
