The parking lot at NASA Dryden is a virtual museum of X-planes...here's a quick survey.

I'd be very interested in hearing the background to X-29 and A.L.F. - even the NASA Public Affairs Officer wasn't sure what the significance is.

Each X-29 had a mascot.  One was ALF.  The other was a Red Bull.
If I get more details I will pass them along.

Red Bull?  What that around back then or was it just a red bull?
