Jim love the C-130 pic.  Never ceases to amaze me how steady you can keep your shots on the slow shutter speeds.

I've been the beneficiary of some great advice. But I've got a long way to go to even get close to Victor!

I didn't get out until late today, but here's a variety. But wait until you see what Brian got!  <thumbsup>

Nope, just play by the rules by shooting from the opposite side of the road from the base, shoot only aircraft with sky and no infrastructure (or even point a lens at the base) and it's all good.  :)

Yup, only thing to do on weekends is watch the sagebrush grow.  :D

I use both the 200-400 most of the time and the 70-200 (usually for side views of the C-17 and other large aircraft).

Well I know they've sent a number of them over for the next Red Flag, which begins on the 22nd, but I'm not sure why they'd be down here.

Good call... that would of course be VFA-122, which makes sense.

Interesting day today.
Leading off with Maj Gen Eichhorn's (Commander EAFB) F-16 (interesting that the name on the back cockpit rail reads "MRS BOBBI ZAPhA"  :)

The MD ANG C-130 made a great, steep approach!  :o

f4_phantom_fan

Caught the Warner-Robins U-2 coming back today. There was also a NASA ER-2 out, but did not return while I was out there.
