Great pictures Jim.

It looks like it was a good day for plane watching at PMD. The last time I was there, I saw nothing but crows.

Thanks!  If you look at the belly shot, just forward of the nose gear bay, you can see an inverted "V" shaped clear enclosure probably for some type of sensors. It's not as obvious in the side view but still discernable.  ;)

Thanks! Here are some from today...

Wow, great stuff.

As I posted earlier, the last time I was at PMD this past summer all I saw were crows :) and the airpark of course.

I saw the same type C-130 from Davis Monthan at Mugu last summer doing some pattern work.

Sometimes, there isn't much happening, but what you catch can certainly be interesting!
Two from today...   :D

Thanks! Plant 42 is eclectic when it comes to aircraft to say the least.  <laughing>

Nice!

I've never seen a Global Hawk static much less flying.

"Eclectic"   lol.

Last time I was out there, I saw the typical tumbleweeds and a couple of lizards sunning themselves.

gfydad

Thanks, I've never seen a Global Hawk in operational markings so this was a first for me.
As far as the "quiet times" there, I remember times that I've taken to shooting pics of beatles! Michael can attest to that.  :D

Will have some goodies from today to post later tonight.  ;)

From today more variety... <laughing>
