City Council of Long Beach will soon be considering whether to begin the work on JetBlue's pending request for a Customs facility at Long Beach Municipal Airport. On July 7th, the City Council will consider whether to allow city staff to begin evaluating JetBlue's pending request for a Customs facility at Long Beach Municipal Airport. Should the City Council vote in their favor, JetBlue, in conjunction with the City, will develop the facts and examine all the ways a Customs facility at LGB would affect the City.

Adding a Customs facility at LGB would allow JetBlue to begin serving new international destinations in Mexico and Central America. Further, JetBlue's added international flights will generate economic growth for the City and for all those who benefit from increased flight activity at LGB; JetBlue would play a key role in advancing economic development and job growth in Long Beach.

The City Council needs to hear your voice and those of your family, friends and neighbors who support JetBlue. This could also be potentially used by GA aircraft and corporate companies like Toyota/AirFlite.
