This reciently completed overhaul Fleet Readyness Center South West F/A-18C Hornet is landing following  a Post Maintenance Check Flight.
The aircraft has VFA-125 markings.

HI APSoCal Photogs. There was, for the first time in a while some significant flying happening at NAS NI.
The VFA-86 Sidewinders are temperally operating from a module in the old Viking Country Hanger.
I also have 2 pics of two brand new E/A-18 Growlers.

Nice pics rander. Would you happen to know if taht is an A+ hornet? or is it just an A. My question for that is because i thought A+'s had IFF (bird slicer) antennas on the nose.

With out gettting up close to the aircraft I could not tell. I do recall that not every F-18 had those bird slicer antennas. I recall when I worked in Building 94 that there were 2 successive BUNO aircraft in the hanger for overhaul, I had them and one did not.

Lots of T-45A activity as there lots of Nuggets to qualify for graduation from flight training.
