Anyone going to Miramar?  It looks like they are letting the general public in later than 8am.

Still trying to figure this out.

The official web page says nothing about the F-35 being on static, and of course the pentagon has forbidden any a/c to fly to air shows for static displays.

YET, the 3rd MAW twitter feed swears up and down that the F-35 will be on static.  If anyone can figure out a way to bend/break the rules, it will be the Marines.  I'll probably go later on Saturday (say after 2pm) to check out if the F-35 is really there and to shoot the statics when the sun gets lower, maybe stick around for fireworks/wall of fire.

I believe there is a F-35 at Miramar currently. I don't know why, but I remember a story back in August when it arrived..

I'm going Friday
