Thank you for your interest in the NAF El Centro 2013 Air Show. There will be no media access on Friday since the base is hosting local school children for Friday's practice. Also, as a reminder, the hay bales are off limits starting Thursday since we must keep the aerobatic box sterile.
For those desiring access to the photographer's bullpen, which affords an unobstructed view of the air show, and is located right of show center, please e-mail your full name and group affiliation to ELCN_PAO_ASSIST@navy.mil. Badges will be available for pick up in hangar 3 at 8:00 a.m. in the Media Room.

BREAKING NEWS...

VFA-122 received the word this afternoon:

Per direction from senior U.S. Navy civilian and military leadership, the F/A-18 TACDEMO participation at the NAF El Centro Air Show in California has been cancelled. We apologize for the short notice, however, budget impacts due to sequestration are far reaching and therefore this particular TACDEMO performance cannot be justified at this time.
