So cool Robert to see that from your backyard.  My brother in law going to school down at the Art Institute of SD could hear then from his dorm apts but couldn't see them.  I was up here shooting the Endeavour Friday so didn't make it down there.  Next year.

Super Bug on the Minimum Radius Turn (MRT), it's pretty sweet to see it from inside the turn.

A couple from sunday in my back yard. These two woud be very rare shots 2 miles from the base, on any other day.

The sun sets I've done before, but the F-5 was a pure experiment, as I've never tried nighttime stuff, be easy on it :-\

quickly...

drop the ISO, if you're not hand holding the camera - looks like it's sitting on the ground - there's no reason to try and keep a reasonable shutter speed.  As a result, you have blurry people in the background.  If you banged out a 30s shutter, the people would disappear.  not saying you need a 30 second exposure, but that's the idea, drag that bad boy.

the lights in the background, as you can see overpower the image - the human eye is drawn to movement and brightness.  without seeing the scene, i can say for certain if there was a better angle wrt background and lights.

at least that's what i would have tried.

light painting with strobes is my newest adventure, and I can fully appreciate the experimental nature of this shot.  keep up the work and it'll pan out.
