About RACE ON THE BASE
The Southland Credit Union 31st Annual Los Alamitos Race on the Base will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012. The City of Los Alamitos, the California National Guard and the Cancer Support Foundation are happy to invite you to participate in the community event. Approximately 6,000 participants, spectators and volunteers attended the last event. The race is held on the run ways at the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos and features helicopters, planes and military vehicles with music throughout the course.

reverse tri is tempting.  $95 and purchase a 1 day license, yuck!

while the setting certainly is interesting, brick workouts hurt just as good

I am doing the 10k even though I have not trained like I wanted too so I will be there with my sister-in-law doing the 10k.
