Can't really say its worth the wait. Spent about 3 hours in line and the only thing you get ts o see is the hangar bay and the flight deck. I spent about 30 mins on the ship. What did suck though is that I saw 4 busloads of people (who have been waiting for hours) get driven over to the carrier then told they weren't letting people in anymore. I felt the event organizers totally failed at communication

Is the hanger deck full or empty?
What part of the hanger deck did you see?

I assume you reached the hanger deck via ladders and not on the elevator like the Stennis did in Feb at CONA kickoff.

Thanks.

VFA-2 color bird? Wow. Been wanting a shot of the Bullet boss for a long time. If it wasn't such a fiasco to get out there I'd go.

Hopefully CVN-72's PAO is a lot more personable than 74's. I was a little bit surprised by her demeanor on press day at NASNI CoNA. I thought the objective of a PAO was to make the press say good things about the Navy...

Nice collection of shots, bro.

Inside the harbor going to the carrier we got a lot of spray from going into the wind.  Hard to keep dry.  On way back or pointed to the east was nice and no spray.  More to come!!
