I will be out to NAF El Centro on Friday.  I am up in the air for Sat though.

This Media issue is quite interesting, never really heard of a "cross your fingers" process... lol... I submitted mine the day it opened have not got any kind of email in return.

QUESTION to all that has attended El Centro Airshow:
- What is the best viewing spot one might choose? I see grandstands for $5 but where is the location of the stands?

They have nothing on the site showing the spectator viewing area. I have never attended this airshow before really stoked on going any insight would be totally appreciated!

Its been over 15yrs since I have been to an El Centro show, so I can't be if any help.  But I know other ApSoCaler's have so please help Jim with some suggestions.

Excited I just got called from the PAO at NAF El Centro and got my media pass. I am not sure if I can make Friday due to work committments. I will be there Saturday..looking forward to an awesome show.

I am going to be there Friday but do not know if I can stay for the Sat show. 

What are you all doing for lodging?  It is a bit too far for me to drive out each day (If i do stay for the Sat show)
