I use my D90 and 18-200VR most of the time. I just got a Nikon 70-300mm ED 4-5.6 with a mint Nikon F100 the other day.......practically stole it off EBAY......

The 70-300mm is OK , not spectacular without VR but good for the rare long shot i need once in a while. Im gonna sell my other F100 and essentially get the lens for free.
That's cool.  8) The fact that you usually use a 200VR just goes to show how dang close you get to grab the shots you do!  ;D

Which I'm still curious to know what it is you do... You've got daily air to airs, so I'm really intrigued.  8)

Nice Finn Air shot!

Yes, that Finnair trijet looks pretty damn cool.  She evaded me for a few days, and I wasn't even sure when it was going to leave again.  I caught it last Thursday and noticed it was still sitting in front of the flight path museum on Sunday afternoon.  I drove down to the parking lot and it was blocked off with a few squad cars...I told myself, "Forget it".  *Shakes fist at airport police*  >:(
Anyone have any idea why it was there?

Just go, that is where the Airport Police has the K-9's so there are aways cars there.  Go to the front of the museum on the west side and shot thru or over(via monopod) the fence.

Hmm, interesting Jim.  When I was there, an older lady, Anne, seemed ecstatic to guide me through the museum and take my me outside to see the DC-3.  I ended up chatting with her for over an hour and I was able to get some pretty cool shots from the platform.  The only time I had to step inside was when other people showed up, so she could attend to them.  Otherwise, it was a pretty open arms welcome, in my opinion.  From what I understand, they have volunteers that work there, so you may have just had a bad few.
