Boeing 747-8 testing in Palmdale?

Anyone know when or if it will be there?  I'm checking flight aware, but I don't know if it will show up on there.  I haven't found it anywhere so far.  I missed the DreamLiner in Victorville.  My husband didn't want to pull over and let me shoot.  We were a little pressed for time. 
Equipment:  Canon EOS 50D; 28-135mm IS 3.5-5.6  Saving up for the Canon 100-400L.

I just saw on Flight Aware that it arrived at 3:05 or so today.  I only missed it by an hour.  :(  I'll be back to Palmdale soon. 
Equipment:  Canon EOS 50D; 28-135mm IS 3.5-5.6  Saving up for the Canon 100-400L.

It and its two sisters are slated to be in Palmdale roughly a year. Plenty of opportunity for shots!

SWEET!!  That's great to know!!  I'm sure I'll be able to get down there and shoot some then. :D 

Did the 787 leave VCV?  I was looking at VCV from the 395 yesterday while heading to Redlands with mom in law and sis in law, but didn't get a good enough view to tell whether or not it was there.  There was something big doing touch and goes last night, and I checked flight aware from my mom in law's phone, but didn't see any touch and go data.  Sometimes C17s from Edwards do touch and gos there.  Flight aware only records commerical/general aviation flights and not military right?  It's bugging me that this plane was so close, but I have no idea what it was.  It was too dark and there aren't a lot of lights in that part of VV.

The 787 was there only about a week, it's now back up in Seattle.

Aw bummer. :(  Well looks like I'll be waiting to see that one when it's flying in and out of airlines regularly.  Thanks for the reply!
