Isn't there a helo meet every year north of LA? I have seen photos on airliners and was wondering if there is a site for the event?

One of them was lighting up the house across and down three from my house this morning 4:30am ish.  Had it been daylight I could have got a good shot.  He was low. I was expecting him to light me up too but maybe they had found what they were looking for already.
