While I was working on trying to get our 412's engine problem solved, the crew in the system spare 222U lifted for a call, and the late afternoon sun worked out just right....

Shows as a tq split at above 85%. During a pwr check, #1 engine Nr bleeds off, all the indication were for either Nf governor or torque control unit, but they checked fine. Even had the Pratt rep scratching his head. Finally traced it late yesterday to an intermittent issue with the manual FCU. Shows that the m/m troubleshooting trees don't always include all possibilities, and you have to get creative sometimes to figure it out!
